Chelsea agree to sell Lukaku for £38m

Chelsea has agreed to Sell Romelu Lukaku for £38M in the summer to whoever wants him.

The agreement is between the player and the club, although it’s not an official release clause, the gentleman’s agreement between both camps has the same effect as Chelsea are set to accept any proposal for that fee in the summer.

This Clause is not only valid for AS Roma, as any club could bid and sign him as Lukaku will not be part of Chelsea project anymore.

The Belgian striker had scored 20 goals on loan to AS Roma in all competitions this season under José Mourinho and Danielle De Rossi.

With eyes set for Victor Osimhen as the main Summer target for a striker, Chelsea are looking to offload players that will not be part of the Club’s project for the coming season.

Lukaku joins Thiago Silva as the two players confirmed to be leaving in the summer.
