Two Confirmed Dead in Attempted Assassination of Trump.

One rally attendee is confirmed dead as well as the shooter and two others are critically injured after the failed assassination shooting at former President Donald Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday night.


The incident saw Trump-Former US President and Republican Candidate Candidate For the Presidential Election later this year- Shot at multiple times while addressing the audience. The Secret Service has Confirmed that Trump was left visibly injured in an incident that was also captured on national television.

Donald Trump took to social media shortly afterward to confirm the incident as many were still in disbelief even after he was rushed off the rally stage with blood visible on his face. The former president confirmed he was hit by a bullet to his ear.

The Secret Service said the shooter fired multiple shots from an “elevated position” outside of the Trump rally before he was killed by agents. The shooting is being investigated officially as an assassination attempt, according to law enforcement officials.

President Joe Biden immediately denounced the violence in remarks on Saturday night and said in a statement that he’s “grateful” Donald Trump is well and safe.

Regardless of the Incident, the Republican National Convention is set to open on Monday as scheduled. The shooting at Trump’s rally on Saturday will not alter plans to formally nominate the former president as the Official Republican Candidate for the forthcoming Presidential Elections.
