Deadly Learjet Crash in Philadelphia Kills Seven, Injures 19.

A medical Learjet 55 crashed into a Northeast Philadelphia neighborhood Friday evening, killing all six onboard and one person on the ground.

The crash injured 19 others, destroyed five homes, and caused a massive explosion.

The jet had just taken off from Northeast Philadelphia Airport en route to Missouri when it plummeted into the residential area near Roosevelt Mall.

Witnesses reported a fiery explosion as debris scattered across several blocks.

Officials confirmed the victims included a young patient, her mother, and four crew members, all Mexican nationals. One person in a car was also killed.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the NTSB and FAA, with early speculation pointing to mechanical failure.

This marks the third fatal aviation incident in the U.S. within five days, raising concerns about aviation safety nationwide.
