NPFL Secures $7.5 Million Title Sponsorship Deal

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has secured a landmark $7.5 million title sponsorship deal with Euromatch, worth $2.5 million annually over three years, marking a major commercial boost for Nigerian football.

The three-year agreement was formally announced in Abuja on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, bringing an end to nearly a decade without a conventional title sponsor for the NPFL.

Under the terms of the deal, NPFL clubs will receive 60% of the sponsorship proceeds, providing a significant financial boost to participating teams and strengthening the commercial foundation of the league.

The agreement represents a major step forward for the NPFL as it seeks to improve its financial sustainability, club development and overall competitiveness.

With Euromatch coming on board as the league’s title sponsor, Nigerian football has secured one of its biggest commercial partnerships in recent years, raising expectations for a stronger and more commercially viable domestic league.
