Conte and Tottenham part ways
After weeks of speculations and waiting, Tottenham and Conte finally parted ways. It was expected after Conte's outburst in a press conference a week ago. Conte was displeased at the culture of the club after Tottenham squandered a 2 goal lead against Southampton.

Conte was appointed to lead Tottenham on the 2nd of November after the club sacked former coach Nuno Espirito Santo. There was much excitement in the club at the arrival of Antonio Conte. He had previously led Chelsea to the Premier League title in the 2016/2017 season.

Tottenham has been inconsistent all season. Dropping points they should easily have gained. They are out of the Champions League, FA cup, and their champions league spot is under threat.

Conte's relationship with the club was already strained, and his press conference tantrum was the final nail in the coffin. There are rumors Tottenham will go for Julian Nagelsmann, but it will take more than just a coach to change their fortunes. The culture at Spurs needs to change if they're to end their trophy drought anytime soon.

With 10 games to go for Tottenham and a place in the top four in jeopardy, the Lilywhites must up their game and be far more consistent if they are to end the season on a high note.
