Trump Orders Military Strikes Against Houthis in Yemen, Issues Stark Warnings to Iran.

U.S. President Donald Trump ordered significant military strikes against Yemen's Houthi rebels. This action came in response to the Houthis' renewed threats to attack ships in the Red Sea, a critical maritime route for global commerce.

The strikes, described by President Trump as "decisive and powerful," aimed to protect American interests and ensure the freedom of navigation in international waters.

The military operation targeted various Houthi assets, including missile launchers and leadership positions. Significant explosions were reported in Yemen's capital, Sana'a, resulting in at least 31 civilian deaths and 101 injuries.

The U.S. Navy's USS Harry S. Truman carrier strike group played a pivotal role in executing these strikes, marking one of the largest U.S. military offensives in the Middle East during Trump's tenure.

In conjunction with the military action, President Trump issued a stern warning to Iran, demanding an immediate cessation of its support for the Houthi rebels. He emphasized that any continued backing would lead to severe consequences, holding Iran fully accountable for the actions of its proxy group.

The Houthis, undeterred by the U.S. strikes, have vowed retaliation, labeling the attacks as war crimes. They maintain their stance against what they perceive as foreign aggression and continue to assert their influence in the region.

This escalation underscores the complex dynamics in the Middle East, highlighting the intricate relationships between local militant groups and regional powers.

The international community remains watchful, concerned about the potential for further destabilization and the broader implications for global security.
