Arsenal crash out of the Champions League.

Arsenal came against Bayern Munich in the all crucial second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals on Wednesday. An eventful first leg saw a 2-2 draw at the Emirates.

Although being favorites due to Bayern’s poor run of form, they were unable to find the back of the net in their crucial encounter, rather conceding in the second half thanks to Bayern’s captain Joshua Kimmich.

This is Arsenal’s first Champions League qualification since 2017. The gunners has enjoyed a stealer season under Mikel Arteta but had come under scrutiny after their poor run of form in front of goal in crucial games this season. They lost 2-0 at home to Aston Villa, failing to score and also dropping to third place in the league after previously leading just a week prior.

The Gunners Champions League elimination might just mean going yet another season without a major silverware as they continue to rebuild under manager Mikel Arteta.
