Former Manchester United manager rejects Bayern Job

Former Manchester United manager Rejects Bayern Job

Former Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick has rejected the chance to coach Bayern Munich next season. With the German working as the current manager of the Austrian national team, he has decided against leaving.

Rangnick was one step away from getting the job after many weeks of negotiations but decided to continue with Austria for personal reasons. "I'm the Austrian team coach with all my heart. I would like to expressly emphasize that this is not a rejection of FC Bayern but rather a decision for my team and our common goals, as our full focus is on the Euros".

This adds to the list of coaches who have rejected the Bayern job over the last few months with Xabi Alonso, Nagelsmann and now Rangnick, it seems to be unclear who would be in charge of the Bavarian Club next season as current manager Thomas Tuchel is already confirmed to be leaving at the end of the season after leading a disastrous campaign.
