With one hand already on the title, Los Blancos needed two more wins to secure the title in the off chance that FC Barcelona don’t loose but the 4-2 Loss at Girona confirmed Carlo Ancelotti’s side as champions with four games to spare.

Having Lost just one League game all season, Madrid are currently on an unbeaten 28-game run of league matches.

This is Real Madrid’s second league title since Carlo Ancelotti’s return to the club in 2021. This title is Real Madrid’s 36th La Liga title, taking them 9 clear of FC Barcelona who have won 27.
