Manchester United played goalless against Crystal Palace while Manchester City managed to get a late 2-2 equalizer against Arsenal in a heated Etihad encounter.

Barcelona bounced back from a disappointing defeat in the Champions League to claim a statement win over Villarreal 5-1.

Atletico Madrid drew 1-1 against Rayo Vallecano while Real Madrid ran riot with 4 goals to 1 against Espanyol as they try to close a 4 point gap with leaders Barcelona.

Bayern Munich won 5-0 in yet another dominant display over the weekend while Leverkusen kept it late to win 4-3 against Wolfsburg in stoppage time.

Borussia Dortmund were thrashed 5-1 in a very disappointing display for last season’s champions League finalists.
