Club football is back after an eventful international break.
The English Premier League kicked off with Tottenham hotspurs railing West Ham 4-1 over the weekend as Manchester United came from behind to beat Brentford 2-1 at Old Trafford while Arsenal suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Bournemouth to derail their title pursuit.
John Stones was the hero again for Manchester City as a late goal sealed a 2-1 win over Wolves. Liverpool defeated Chelsea 2-1 in a heated game on Sunday.
In Laliga, Real Madrid were back again with a 2-1 win over Celta, Real Sociedad defeated Girona 1-0. Atletico Madrid came from behind to win newly promoted Leganes 3-1. Barcelona continued the winning momentum with a 5-1 win over Sevilla.
Bundesliga, Bayer Leverkusen came from behind thanks to a late goal from Victor Boniface to win 2-1 as Bayern Munich defeated Stuttgart 4-0.
Liepzig edged out Mainz 2-0. Borussia Dortmund were back to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over St. pauli
Serie A looked eventful this weekend as Juventus edged out Lazio 1-0 in a thrilling game, same as Milan with a 1-0 win over Udinese as the teams felt the tired legs over the international break.
League leaders Napoli also continued the momentum by winning 1-0 over Empoli as well as Inter who snatched a 1-0 victory over Roma.
