ASAP Rocky Acquitted of Felony Assault Charges in 2021 Shooting Case.

A$AP Rocky, Rihanna’s partner, was acquitted on all charges in his felony assault trial in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The 36-year-old rapper had faced two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm in connection to the 2021 shooting of his former friend, A$AP Relli. If convicted, he could have faced up to 24 years in prison.

As the jury delivered the not-guilty verdict after a three-week trial, Rihanna broke down in tears. A$AP Rocky, overcome with emotion, rushed to embrace her.

“Thanks y’all for saving my life,” he told the jury, which consisted of seven women and five men.

Rihanna later took to Instagram Stories to share her relief, writing, “The Glory Belongs To God And God Alone! Thankful, Humbled By His Mercy!”
