Elon Musk Launches New Political Movement: The ‘America Party’

Tech billionaire Elon Musk has announced the formation of a new political party, the “America Party,” promising to shake up the U.S. political landscape ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.

In a surprise move, Elon Musk revealed the launch of the “America Party,” a new political organization aimed at “restoring unity, innovation, and common sense to American politics.”

The announcement was made via Musk’s X (formerly Twitter) account, quickly trending across social media and sparking widespread debate.

During a press conference at SpaceX headquarters in Hawthorne, California, Musk outlined the party’s vision, emphasizing a platform centered on technological advancement, economic opportunity, and bipartisan cooperation.

“The America Party is about putting the country first beyond red and blue, beyond left and right,” Musk said. “We need a future-focused approach to solve our biggest challenges.”

Musk, known for his leadership at Tesla, SpaceX, and Neuralink, did not confirm whether he intends to run for public office himself.

However, he stated that the party would field candidates in key races nationwide and encourage public participation in policy development through digital platforms.

The America Party’s official platform and first slate of candidates are expected to be unveiled later this year.
