Israel Deports Greta Thunberg to Sweden

Climate activist Greta Thunberg is being sent back to Sweden after being detained by Israel aboard a Gaza-bound ship.

Israeli authorities intercepted a vessel heading for Gaza and detained Thunberg and other activists on Monday.

Officials confirmed that Thunberg agreed to voluntary deportation and was placed on a flight to Sweden. Israel maintains the ship violated.

Some activists are still being held as their deportation cases are reviewed.
