Oppenheimer wins big at BAFTA

Christopher Nolan's hit movie, Oppenheimer, was a big winner in the just concluded BAFTA Award, which is the British equivalent of the Oscars. Oppenheimer won 7 out of 13 nominated categories.
 
The awards ceremony was held in the Royal Festival Hall in London, England, on Sunday evening. Oppenheimer won best film, Christopher Nolan won best director, and his first-ever BAFTA.
 
Cillian Murphy won best leading actor, while Emma Stone won best leading actress for her performance in "Poor Things." Robert Downey Jr. won best supporting actor for his performance in Oppenheimer, while Da’Vine Joy Randolph won best supporting actress for her performance in “The Holdovers."
