Manchester City Beat Arsenal to Win Carabao Cup.

Manchester City claimed their first trophy of the season with a 2-0 victory over Arsenal in the Carabao Cup Final at Wembley Stadium.

Pep Guardiola’s side responded strongly after their UEFA Champions League campaign ended earlier in the week, following a last-16 exit to Real Madrid.

Arsenal, meanwhile, entered the final still competing on multiple fronts, but struggled to break down City in a tightly contested first half that ended goalless.

City took control after the break when Arsenal goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga mishandled the ball, allowing Nico O'Reilly to head into an empty net.
O’Reilly later doubled the lead with another header, sealing the win.

Despite the defeat, Arsenal remain top contenders in the Premier League, sitting nine points ahead of City.
