Florentino Pérez has been re-elected as Real Madrid president after securing 64.79% of the vote, comfortably defeating challenger Enrique Riquelme, who received 35.21%.
The result extends Pérez’s leadership of the Spanish giants until 2030, reinforcing his position as one of the most influential figures in the club’s history.
Members once again backed Pérez’s vision for Real Madrid’s future, giving him a strong mandate to continue overseeing both sporting ambitions and major institutional projects.
A key focus of his new term is expected to be maximising the potential of the renovated Santiago Bernabéu Stadium while ensuring the club remains among Europe’s elite on and off the pitch.
Despite the defeat, Riquelme’s 35.21% share of the vote highlighted support for alternative ideas within the club, although Pérez’s decisive victory provides stability as Real Madrid plans its next chapter.
