Bayern Munich has Appointed Vincent Kompany as their new manager.
The former Manchester City captain had previously managed Burnley, leading them to the Championship title and a promotion to the English Premier League in 2023.
Kompany began his management career at Belgian side Anderlecht in 2022 and after two years there he joined Burnley in the Championship. He led them to the Premier League in his first season but got relegated in his second as they only finished 19th with just 5 wins all season.
With the likes of Xabi Alonso, Julian Nagelsmann, Ralf Rangnick and even current coach Thomas Tuchel snubbing the Bavarians, they turn to the the Burnley Manager to help lead the helm next season with hopes of rebuilding the club to it’s former glory.
The Belgian signs on a 3 year contract with Burnley taking a €12M compensation package to let him leave.
