Super Falcon's thrash Football Ferns of New Zealand 0:3

Nigeria's Super Falcons humbled Football Ferns of New Zealand 0:3 in preparation for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

This year's tournament will be jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand and is scheduled to take place from 20 July to 20 August 2023.

Victory against the Football Ferns of New Zealand will be the Falcons' first 3 victories in a roll after a horrible run of 7 defeats in a roll.

American gaffer Randy Waldrum will look to capitalise on the games of the last 3 games ahead of the World Cup group game fixtures against Canada, Australia, and Ireland.

Captain Onome Ebi opened scoring in 34th-minute through a header from a Michelle Alozie's corner kick.

The Falcons went on to double their lead in the second half with goals from Jennifer Echegini in the 49th and returnee Desire Oparanozie in the 94th minute.
