Afonja warriors have had a turbulent season so far, with just 14 points after 16 games from a possible 48. With just one game left after this, Kwara United can't afford to drop further points as relegation beckons.

On the other hand, Nasarawa United are yet to register an away win this season. The solid minners, however, picked up vital points at Aba and Uyo against Enyimba and the promise keepers Akwa United.

A win for the solid minners today and a point against Bendel Insurance in Benin will keep them in the NPFL and condem Kwara United to the second division. A win for Kwara will see the Lafia giants relegated to the NNL.
