Israel to open more crossings for aid
Israel has announced it'll open more crossings for aid into Gaza. Israel said its southern port of Ashdod will soon begin to receive aid for Gaza. This will be enormous in streamlining aid to the Gaza Strip.
Israel said it'll also open the Erez crossing, which will make it easier for aid to reach Gaza from Israel. The Kerem Shalom crossing in southern Gaza will also begin to receive more aid straight from Jordan.
The announcement comes after the US President spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The US President warned the Israeli Prime Minister that US support depends on the protection of civilians and increased access to humanitarian aid.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military is on high alert in anticipation of a retaliatory strike by Iran. The Iranian regime has vowed to respond to an alleged Israeli airstrike on a building linked to its consulate in Damascus.
